Structural Coatings Hertford is located in Winton North Carolina in close proximity to Nucor Hertford Plate Mill. Our trademark process "Plate Shield" offers a value added service to steel plate customers across the United States and International Areas.

Our facility is located on a 48 acre site with storage and plate processing located in an environmentally controlled enclosed plant with 50,000 square feet of floor space. Our large indoor and outdoor secure facilities allow Structural Coatings Hertford the ability to provide on-site storage upon customer's request.

SCH Capabilities:

• Blast and Painting of up to 4,000 LF of plate one shift
• Quality Control Documentation associated with every plate processed
• Quality Control to include Surface Profile Readings and Paint Dry Film Thickness
• Documentation of Heat numbers recorded with Quality Control Documentation
• Stenciling of Heat numbers and other information as required by customers
• Certified Plate Weights can be taken on each plate within 1/10 of 1% for every plate and stenciled on plate
